As we emerge in time and technology, the provided opportunities can take us places we have never been to, we have never visited, but still we can feel like we are there in that moment enjoying the same sights. A similar virtual reality is given to us by Google, their Streetview feature, which – taking into account its limitations – allows us to visit places with some restrictions, like staying on the road. I used this feature to locate famous paintings’ exact places of making and looked for the best viewing angle, similar to what the painting has. I saved these sights with print screen and tried to raise them to independent paintings by using acrylic transfer on streched canvas. In the 40x50 cm frame the canvas strongly bends when handled (removing the paper), but this kind of damage only adds to the painting-like feeling.
